Community Health Group (CHG) operates as a non-profit health plan within San Diego County, offering a range of services to its members. Among these services is CHG RIDE, a transportation program specifically designed for individuals enrolled in the health plan. The initiative aims to facilitate access to medical appointments through a dedicated driver network.

The CHG RIDE Driver’s app is tailored for drivers interested in providing transportation services within a health plan context. The compensation structure is competitive when compared to other rideshare platforms, presenting an appealing opportunity for potential drivers.

Users of the CHG RIDE app will find it user-friendly, enabling them to monitor their earnings effectively after each completed trip. Bookings are handled by Community Health Group, and drivers receive payment directly from CHG after finishing a trip.

We seek skilled and safety-conscious drivers with a valid California driver’s license, appropriate insurance coverage, and a vehicle model year 2010 or newer. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as drivers will be responsible for ensuring that members arrive at their medical appointments punctually. Given the potentially varied needs of our members, patience and adaptability are vital attributes, especially when providing door-to-door assistance. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
